Shih-Li Kow is the author of News From Home, Ripples and Other Stories, and The Sum of Our Follies. The short story collection Ripples and Other Stories was nominated for the Commonwealth Writers’ Prize in the First Book category and shortlisted for the 2009 Frank O’Connor International Short Story Award.
